Howard Hucks

Howard Haskell Hucks Jr born October 16,1936 Florence SC to Mary Lucile Bethune and Howard Haskell Hucks Sr. Died March 8, 2014. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He lived in Huntington Beach, CA where a funeral was held, with a Military Burial at East Lawn Cemetery in Provo Utah. As a youth he attended school in Fayetteville, NC and East High School in Salt Lake City. He was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg NC 1955 to 1957. He attended the School of Engineering at Brigham Young University and graduated from Santa Monica City College with a degree in Construction and Architectural Design. Howard was a very successful contractor and developer with numerous projects in Southern California and Utah, including Carriage Cove student housing in Provo. Howard was brilliant, fun loving, charming and adored by his children, his siblings and all that knew him. 
He is survived by KaraLynn Jenkins and their children Creg Hucks, Stace Christianson, Brent Hucks, Jennifer Bradshaw and 14 grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Patricia Hucks Vorkink Sheranian and brother Daniel Bethune Hucks. Howard is also survived by Ruth Turner and their children Kaitlin Hucks, Brandon Hucks and stepson Sean Minto of Huntington Beach CA.
