Mike died in Salt Lake City on December 22, 2012 from complications of cancer.  He was 76 years old.

He is survived by wife Deanna; 3 children; 5 grandchildren; and brothers Keith, Kaye, and Malcolm.

Mike's career spanned over 50 years in the grocery business. He was a little league baseball and football coach and very active in BMX and BMX tracks around Utah. He ran several BMX tracks. Various sports were very important to Mike throughout his life. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Mike was a great guy and will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
