Personal History
After graduation, I attened U of U for 2 yrs. Wanted to see what the world of work was like so headed to California. I liked Long Beach. I met lot of people. 57' I had to do military service so my budy, Gary Wilmarth and I joined the National Guard.
We both had a lot fun in the Army. Never took it very serious. After I started work with ZCMI drug wholesale. ZCMI supplied directly to various drug stores though out Utah and one in Las Vegas. My rout was southern Utah. This is where I met my wife Sandy. After we were married I was called up for the Berlin Crisis and sent to Tacoma, WA.
After a year I went back to work for a credit card company called International Credit (later some of it was purchase for start of VISA). Company later moved me to their finance division and move us around to different town like every 6 to 9 months. When we came to Colorado, I had enough of that and joined a Unit bank (no branches).
For fun, we both like bowling so we joined the leagues.
The bank require me to entertain a lot so we did that. Raising the two boys are the joy of my life.
I love camping, fishing and hunting. It was rewarding to taking the boys up in the mountains. Sandy wasn't that excited about.
My life has had the ups and downs but I would not trade it only for the downs.
Work History
Quit college after 2 yrs and moved to Calif. Worked in the Missile industry R&D. Recieved draft notice and moved back to Utah to joined the National Guard. Started with consumer finance and move to CO. Went to work for Commercial Bank. Graduated CU grad school for banking. Caught up in a merger downsizing after 22 yrs and worked for the FDIC liquidating a large savings bank. As asset loan manager, sold off the loans in a bidding process. Worked for various real estate lenders including subprime as a underwriter. Had to stop working at age 64 due to health reasons.
