Thomas A Gilmore

Thomas Anthon Gilmore, 48, passed away in the Veterans Hospital April 14, 1998.

Born March 11, 1950 in Ely, Nevada to Walter and Kathlene Hougaard Gilmore. Veteran of the U.S. Army.Survived by his father of Salt Lake City; one brother, Kent of Salt Lake City.

Memorial services will be held Monday, April 20, 1998 in the Veterans Hospital Chapel, 500 Foothill Blvd. at 2 p.m. Funeral directors, I.P.S. Crematory.

I think this is so sad. Tommy was a friend and a gentle giant. I can remember when we were younger as kids would tease him and his brother, it would make me so mad, that I would chase them down and tell them off, and i think I punched a few too. Joella S. Martin

Tom was a friend of mine also.We hung out together for two years at Roosevelt Jr.Lost contact so to speak when we went to East.

I agree with both comments. I lived in the same neighborhood as Tom and frequently saw how cruel kids could be. I wish I had been a better friend to him
