I've known Carol since we were little girls.  My father knew her mother in the mission field in Mississippi way back in the 30s  We used to get into all sorts of trouble together, but no matter where she lived, we always managed to re-connect and pick up where we left off!  I remember one time after school we caught hundreds of guppies in a little creek near her house by Forest Dale Golf Course....don't know why I remember that so well, but we had some good times.    I still think of her often and will keep her friendship in my heart always.

Carol was one of the rare souls on this earth with a truly kind spirit and never an unkind word toward another. She had an amazing intellect and delightful humor. Although I had moved and hadn't seen her for years, I still miss her and smile to think of her. I was honored to know her and look forward to seeing her again.

Carol also left behind a young, grieving husband, who has never remarried.

Carol had a smile a mile wild and we did have some grand times in high school. Her death left a big hole in my heart. However, I can report that she was one dandy ghost! I had several "visits" from her in the weeks after her death.

Last year, almost 40 years after Carol's death, my youngest son Benjamin brought his new girlfriend for an introduction - imagine my surprise when she looks exactly like Carol, and.......her birthday is the same as Carol's, only 34 years later! Life holds many wonderful surprises for us, indeed.

God Bless you, Carol, and hope we meet again! xoxo Ti
