Unknown who reported her death in 2010 but nothing could be found in Find A Grave.

Several Sherry Carlson's could be found via Free White Pages but only one came close to our age 69-70 and that Sherry lives in Oregon.

If anyone was friends with Sherry or knows for info, please let us know.  Her passing may be under a married name which we do not have.   UPDATE from Grig Clawson 7/13/2024:

When Sherry Lee Carlson was born on 10 January 1952, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, her father, Henry Eugene Carlson, was 33 and her mother, Jean Helen Loftis, was 26. She had at least 1 daughter. She died on 22 March 1999, in Riverton, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 47, and was buried in Riverton City Cemetery, Riverton, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

Also, in the "In Memory" section for Sherry Carlson, I noticed today a note indicating that there might be some uncertainty about her death  year, married name, etc.  I knew Sherry and went to her viewing just prior to her funeral (I believe it was a closed casket if I remember right).  I spoke with her mother at that time about Sherry and the circumstances relating to her untimely and unfortunate death. 

I did a bit of research this morning and feel I can confirm that her married name was Sherry Lee Carlson Pentico, and she died March 22, 1999.  She is buried in Riverton according to what I've read, although I'm not able to find an obituary for her.  But the photo shown of Sherry in the link below is Sherry. 

From Sherry's mother's obituary, I was able to ascertain that Sherry's married name was "Pentico" (which I now recall hearing/seeing when I went to her viewing), that Sherry preceded her mother in death, and that Jean was, indeed, Sherry's mother (as Jean's funeral was held in the wardhouse on Vine Street, where Sherry and family lived when growing up and attending Granite).

So, I hope that gives you the information you need for adding Richard to the "In Memory" section, and for updating Sherry's year-of-death from 2010 to 1999 in "In Memory."
