RICHARD T. DAWSON

Richard Terence Dawson, age 31, passed from this life January 10, 1993, Salt Lake City.

Born October 1, 1961, Salt Lake City to John Terence and Elsie Stewart Dawson. Graduated from Granite High School and seminary in 1980. Attended Dixie College and Utah Valley Community College. He was an Elder in the LDS Church, served as a home teacher and helped in the Sunday School. He received his temple endowments, December 1991, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was a diabetic since age two and was on kidney dialysis the last three years, awaiting a kidney transplant. Richard and family express their heartfelt thanks for all the donations received toward his transplant. Counselor for several years at the Utah Diabetic Camp Utada.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved camping, hunting and fishing. He had no enemies, went out to his way to help others and made friends wherever he went.

Survived by his mother, brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Ann, David Sterling, Robert Samuel, Michael Stephen, Ceridwen Garcia, and Margaret Elsie Dawson. Preceded in death by father, and brothers, John Stewart and Nathan William.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, 12 noon, Jordan View Ward, 1165 West 2320 South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday from 6-8 p.m., and Thursday, at the ward, 10:45-11:45 a.m., prior to services.

Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
