Richard was working at Hinckley Dodge in SLC as a service advisor, I owned a Dodge at the time and had become reaquainted with Richard... he and I had talked quite a bit right at the time of his passing, i was very shocked and saddened by the news when I went into Hinckley and asked for Richard.
Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend, Richard Christian Schenck, 37, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 1999 at his home.
He was born February 26, 1962, a son of Christian Charles and Marilynne Adams Schenck. He married Deborah Jean Wahlberg May 11, 1991 in Murray, Utah.Richard attended Dixie college and was employed by Hinkley Dodge. He was a member of the LDS Church. He loved sports, especially fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his wife of West Jordan; children; Christian Richard Schenck, Anthony Fredrick Schenck and Stephanie Jean Schenck, all of West Jordan; Parents Christian Charles and Marilynne Schenck, So. Jordan; brother; Jeffrey Timbrell (Candyce) Schenck; sisters; Wendy (Andrew); Elizabeth (George); Emillee (David); Nancy (Lance); Jennifer (Timothy Frederick).
Richard was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 16, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the Redwood Memorial Estates Chapel, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to the services all at the mortuary. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
