Catherine Carver Underwood passed away peacefully at her home in Issaquah, WA December 5, 2002.  Catherine was born in Salt Lake City, UT on September 10th 1963 to Gay Tonnesen Heir and the late Guenter Schleusener.  She attended Highland High School and graduated from the University of Utah in 1986.  She went on to enjoy a rewarding career with Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals.  In 1986, she married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Kevin T. Underwood, and moved to Seattle, WA.  She has two wonderful daughters, Sarah and Samantha, who brought great delight and joy.

     Catherine loved her time and great memories of her children at Disney World and the Salt Lake City 2002 Olympics.  She experienced many wonderful things such as music, concerts, theater, and travel. She always had great generosity and truly enjoyed caring for and helping others.  She always mention that she was happy and thankful for all the many blessings she had and cherished the friendships she made.  Catherine's love, strength and determination were unyielding.  In the end, her angel helped guide her precious soul to continue her caring and great generosity elsewhere.
