Brett R. Sherman 1962~2009

Brett R. Sherman passed away unexpectedly on March 12, 2009.  Born October 23, 1962 in San Francisco, the only child of Lynne Perkins Sherman.  Brett was raised in Salt Lake City, graduating from Highland High School in 1981.  

He served a two year mission in London, England.  He received his BS in Communications from the University of Utah, returning to California for nine years working in public relations for the San Diego Padres.  His remaining years were spent in Salt Lake working in various internet-based businesses.  He was a gifted athlete and a veritable encyclopedia on sports and rock n’ roll.  

He had a contagious enthusiasm for life that drew many people toward him.  A man of principle, integrity, and humility.  Brett was without pretense.  He was a loyal and caring son to his mother and considered a member of many other family households.  He was a dog’s best friend, and a favorite among many children.
