 Neil (Scottie) Wagaman 1963~1990

Neil Scott Wagaman, 26, died May 4, 1990 in St. Mark’s Hospital after a long illness.  He was born July 5, 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Neil Standifird and Lora Louise Sanders Wagaman.  Scott was a graduate of Cottonwood High School and a member of the LDS Church.  He was an Eagle Scout, certified Scuba Diver and worked with his uncles on underwater salvage at Lake Powell.  His major hobby was home remodeling for friends and neighbors.  For the past 10 years he has been employed at St. Mark’s Hospital as a Stock Buyer in Material Management and General Stores Supervisor.

Survivors:  parents, Neil S. and Cora Sanders Wagaman, Salt Lake City: sisters Caryn and her husband, Mark Stastny, Scarsdale, New York, Stephanie and her husband, Ivan Marchello, Provo, Rebecca and Julie, Salt Lake City, brother, Charles serving an LDS Mission, Tennessee Nashville Mission, grandmother, Lucile Sanders, Salt Lake City.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Scott touched the lives of everyone he knew, in many different ways.  As a son, a brother, a grandson, a cousin, a nephew and as a friend.  Scott always put everyone else before himself.  He loved life and found his greatest joy in making others happy, by giving of his time, his talents, his humor, his love and of himself.  He will be missed by us all, but the memories of his love and kindness will always be in our hearts.
