Charlie Baxter

Charlie Baxter

Charlie Brook Baxter, beloved son, brother, and friend was tragically taken from us on January 30, 1998, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Charlie was born October 26, 1972 in Long Beach, California, to Charles and Maureen Baxter, moving to Utah soon thereafter. He graduated from Highland High school in 1990 and attended Salt Lake Community College. Charlie was a free spirit who chose to do things his way. His interests included a love for animals, a love and wonder of nature, and believing in the ecology of the planet. Some of his happiest times were spent on Bonneville golf course with his beloved dad playing golf. He also loved all winter sports.Charlie is survived by his devoted and loving mother, Maureen, who always believed in him; brothers, Craig (Brenda) Oliver and Kevin (Cindy) Oliver; sisters, Lori (Smiley) Tierney and Rhonda (Jim) Fike; grandparents, Jessie and Edna Kay. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Baxter, and grandparents, Lafaire and Beulah Baxter. Together, father and son, Charles Baxter, and Charlie B. Baxter, will be side by side at the Larkin cemetery, making "pars" in the big golf course in the sky. Charlie, we all love you and know you are in a better peaceful place. Graveside services will be held Monday, February 2, 1998, 12 noon at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, where friends may call from 10:45-11:45 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary Chapel.
