Lorie Denise Apple "Angel Eyes" "Lorie Loved The Lord" Lorie Denise Apple, age 37, entered the presence of the Lord on Nov. 7, 2009.Born July 18, 1972, in Salt Lake City, UT to Earl and Patsy Bradford. Married Terry Apple Jr., Nov. 9, 1997. Together they had Braydon, the "apple of their eye". Lorie loved her pets, Ariel, Oreo, Fiona, Tipsey, and many more. Lorie enjoyed drawing, and writing, which she shared with her Aunt Ardith (deceased). She was working on a book about the life of her Uncle Morris. She was a wonderful teacher of life and loved to read the Bible. She had a tender, loving heart and had a compassion for the down-trodden. Her passion extended to those who sacrifice for our country. Lorie is survived by her husband and son; parents; siblings, Dale, Kevin (Lydia), and Teresa (Quinn) Brown; Terry's family, grandmothers, Billie Erickson and Lois Apple; mother, Jackie Morris; siblings, Patty (Wayne) Tolman, Ron (Virginia), Cammy, Tiffini (Juan) Parra, Peter, and Rodney; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thurs. Nov. 12, 2009, 3:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of SLC, 460 W. Century Drive (4350 S). A viewing will be held on Wed., from 6-8:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Cemetery. Someone so special could never be forgotten.

Lorie and I were "locker mates." Lorie called me not too long ago to thank me for always smiling and saying "hi." She was always trying to stay upbeat, regardless of what was going on around her. I will miss reconnecting with Lorie. I hope her family is coping with their loss.
