Ryan Jensen

Ryan Buckley Jensen

Ryan Buckley Jensen 12/4/1971 ~ 10/4/2008 Our adored son, brother, husband and father passed away in the early morning of October 4th, 2008. Ryan fought cancer valiantly and gracefully for over two years.Ryan will be remembered for his delightful, funny and always sincere personality. He was always the comedian and one to make people feel welcome and special. He loved spending time with his children and had the opportunity to be at home with them full time during his battle with cancer. He shared a love for gadgets and electronics with his oldest son, Jack (8 1/2 years old), a passion for silliness with his second son, Peter (6 years old) and an affinity for snuggle time with his daughter, Grace ( 3 1/2 years old). He will be dearly missed by his beautiful children. Ryan was an amazing husband and partner to his wife of 11 years, Allie Jensen. It can be truly said that they were "best friends". Ryan lived life to its fullest in both business and pleasure and leaves behind an amazing circle of family and friends that rallied behind his family over the last two years. Ryan is survived by his wife, Allison Palmer Jensen, children; Jack, Peter and Grace, parents; Craig and Sue Jensen, brothers and sisters; Robyn Larkin (Rob), Martin Tyler Jensen (Luis Barrios), Douglas Jensen (Courtnie) and Allyson Davis (Eric) and many loved nieces and nephews. Ryan is preceded in death by his dear younger brother, Scot Jensen. The family would like to thank the truly compassionate staff of Hopewell House Hospice in Portland, Oregon. With their help, Ryan's passing was dignified and beautiful. The nurses not only took amazing care of Ryan, but of our family and friends as well. The staff was quite touched by Ryan and many tears were shed when he passed away. In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest that donations be made to Hopewell House, 6171 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97239. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 5:30 p.m. at Le Jardin, 1910 E. 10600 S. in Sandy, Utah. A second memorial service is being planned in Portland, Oregon in November. I am sorry to hear about Ryan.  From the sounds of it, he was a great husband and father.  I hope his family is doing well.
