Heavenly Father took Steven A. and Sharolyn Gold Erickson home on Nov. 1, 2002.

Sharolyn Gold Erickson

Beloved wife, daughter, sister and aunt was born May 14, 1953 to Merrold A. and Margery Austin Gold in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Sharolyn had many talents and abilities.

She was very gifted musically and played the piano, the organ and the flute. She wrote poetry and stories, spoke fluent French, graduated with an MA from Utah State, obtained a paralegal degree from Weber State.

Sharolyn was gentle, kind and thoughtful. She had a beautiful spirit and smile that would brighten any room she entered.

She is preceded in death by her father. Surviving are her mother, Marjorie Jean (Jaime) Quinones, Oregon, Mike (Ina) Gold and Jeffrie (Barbara) Gold.

We will miss her and her wonderful smile so very much.

Steve and Sharolyn were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 18, 1974. Their love for each other made them inseparable. They loved the outdoors and spent numerous hours in their yard gardening and camping.

They loved to travel and had visited Hawaii and Canada many times.

Graveside services at the Murray City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ogden Rescue Mission.
