Kent Julius Rasmussen 3/18/1953 ~ 6/4/2008 Our loving son, father, grandfather and friend passed from this life unexpectedly the morning of June 4, 2008. There is a VOID in our life that will never be filled.Kent was born May 18, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Grant J. and Bonnie R. Rasmussen. He was a hard worker and was full of love. He spent 35 years employed by the USPS. He always said his greatest gifts in life were his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed his life with his loved ones introducing them to his hobbies, fishing, cars, and collecting. He was preceded in death by his father, Grant J. Rasmussen. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie R. Rasmussen, siblings, Karen (Craig) Nielson, Kevin (Dana) Rasmussen, Keith (Marci) Rasmussen. His four children; Brittany Rae Lee, Jeremy Julius (Angie), Zachary Kent (Sara), and Breanna Elizabeth (Fred) Cheshire, four stepchildren, and eight grandchildren. Two former spouses, Nancy Rasmussen, and Jeri Torman, who he remained close to, and many nieces and nephews. An open house will be held to honor Kent's memory on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Russon Brothers Salt Lake Mortuary, 255 South 200 East.
