Jeanette Rochell Newport, 42, passed away July 28, 1995 in a Salt Lake City hospital.
She was born July 15, 1953 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Hans and Irmgard Kahlbow Rochell. She married Keith Newport, June 2, 1988 in Bountiful, Utah.
Graduate of South High School and attended the U of U. Former employee of University Medical Center. She currently was administrative assistant for United Transportation Union in Salt Lake City. Jeanette was dedicated to her family, friends and church and was known for her ability to care for other people.
Survived by husband, Woods Cross; parents, Bountiful; children, Jeremy, Ryan, Merrilee, and Heather, sister, Connie Rochell, Las Vegas, Nevada; aunts, uncles, and cousins in Utah and Germany.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 1, 1995, 11 a.m. at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South. In lieu of flowers the family requests friends wishing can make contributions to the U of U Medical Center Research Fund. Funeral directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.
