Debra Raleigh Forsyth, age 56, passed away September 1, 2011 at her home in South Jordan surrounded by her family. Debby had been battling cancer for over a year when she returned to her Heavenly Father and her sister, Kathy. She was born July 21, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington to Kenneth and Barbara Hatch Raleigh. She married Robert Terry Forsyth June 15, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple. She graduated from Brighton High School and is a faithfull member of the LDS church. She enjoyed Scrapbooking, crafts, service, and most of all being with her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was always happy, hardworking, kind, and generous and had a great sense of humor. Survived by her eternal companion, Terry, of 34 years; children, Brian (Melissa); Lauren (Jim); Jansyn; Kallin; 4 grandchildren; parents, Ken Raleigh and Barbara and Grant Furse; brothers, Ken, Mike, Steve, Chris, and Jeff.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 in the Draper Riverview Stake Center, 12101 South 700 West. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Stake Center and from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the South Jordan Cemetery.
