David "Bryce" Swanson was reunited with his parents, Barbara and David Swanson, in Heaven on Friday December 11, 2015. Bryce was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and leader that cared deeply for everyone he came in contact with. Bryce will truly be missed by his devoted wife, Carla Lundeen Swanson, and their 4 children; Angela Evans (Paul), Ryan Swanson (Ashlie), Dustin Swanson (Natalie), and Ashley Todd (Michael), 10 grandchildren, extended family and friends. Bryce was an incredible man that was given the gift of making an impact on every life he came in contact with.
Funeral services will be Wednesday December 16, 2015 at the LDS Stake Center 5850 West 10400 North, Highland, UT at 11:00 am, with a small viewing before beginning at 10:00 am. There will also be a viewing Tuesday, the night before at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy (10600 S), South Jordan UT from 6:00-8:00 pm.

I met Bryce as far back as Elementary school and encountered him in both Junior High and High School. I was sad to learn of his demise in 2015. He was both humble and amiable, holding out the hand of friendship to everyone. His low-key persona concealed a shrewd sense of humor and a mature wisdom, and he was hard not to like.
