I knew Linda Miller when I was a young child far before I moved into the Brighton High School area in 1969 when my parents built a home off Creek Road and Highland Drive.  Linda's Aunt was my younger sisters babysitter and Lorraine Miller was her cousin and my best friend growing up.  According to family members who are all deceased now with the possibility of Janet Miller, younger sister of Lorraine?   Lorraine was a surgical RN at the old Cottonwood Hospital also died of cancer.  It was  reported to me that Linda died at a very young age of lung cancer. It was reported to me that she was survived by three  young children when she died around 1982 without any family history of smoking.  According to church records and to the best of my knowledge, her legal name at death was  Mary Linda Miller Wood. She died on 6-16-1982 and was burried at Larkin Sunset Garden.  So sad for such a lovely young woman and friend.  Beware way too much cancer probability in living in the little Cottonwood Canyon area due to Radon exposure.  I left for years but now live here again in the same area but will certainly get our house mitigated very soon.
