David Anthony Ford 1/29/1957 ~ 3/16/2005 David Ford, 48, passed away at his Tooele home March 16th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Howard H. (deceased) and Marilyn (LYN) Ford of Sandy, Utah. Married Candace Jensen January 31st at Hecta Head, OR. Previously married and divorced from Julie Kitson and Terry Peterson. Dave is survived by his loving wife Candace; Mother, Marilyn Ford; children, Shawn, Nicole and Justin Ford, all of Grants Pass Oregon; three grandchildren; brother, Scott Ford of Holladay; sister, Lisa (Shaun) Ford-Bunkall of Sandy; mother and father-in-laws, Cynthia (Malcolm) Reeves and Tim (Trish) Jensen; grandparents, Amos (Billy Lee) Garcia and Cardon (Bettie) Jensen. Dave had an infectious smile and a huge heart. He was employed at the Salt Lake City Parks Department 28 years. He enjoyed his children, grandchildren, travel, U of U football and cruising on his Harley. Special thanks to the CNS hospice nurses Jenny and Sue, as well as Paula and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2005 1:00 Mountain View Memorial, 3115 East 7800 South, Salt Lake City, Utah. Memorial Contributions can be made to the family.
