Constance Lynn Lockhart, our beloved mother and protector, passed away on February 22, 2025 in Tucson, Arizona. Constance was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on July 19, 1955, and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended George Washington University in Washington, D.C., earning a BA in Chemistry. She moved to Wilmington, Delaware in the 1970s where she met her husband, Ronald. They married in 1981. In 1986, they moved to Tucson, Arizona where they raised their children. Constance worked as a Senior Research Chemist for Tessenderlo Kerley for over 35 years, where she co-invented 21 patents. Constance coached youth soccer and volunteered for the Fort Lowell Shoot Out. She was an avid reader, enjoying historical non-fiction. Just five months shy of retirement, she planned to travel the world and learn how to play the guitar and cello. Constance is survived by her children, Coltere (Kimberly) Lockhart, Alexandra Lockhart, and Morgan Lockhart; step-son, Clay Lockhart; sister, Cynthia (Joseph) Waldschmitt; grandchildren, Maxwell Lockhart and Weston Lockhart; and her canine companions, Theodore and Choo Choo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, and her parents, Ralph and Wilma Frank.
