Earl LaVern "Vern" Bird

July 4, 1948 - Dec 16, 1980

At the time of his death Vern, 32, was President of Envirowest. He had been in insurance sales where he received many awards. He was a graduate of East High School and the University of Utah in Business Management. He served an LDS mission in Southern Germany and had been active in church youth programs in recent years. He participated in sports and belonged to several athletic groups.

Vern was born July 4, 1948 to Earl and La Verna Bird. He married Christine Valentine, December 30, 1970. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Melissa and Camille. His parents, two brothers a sister, grandparents and extended family.

Funeral services will be Saturday December 20, 1980 at the Federal Heights Ward 1300 Fairfax Road. The family suggests contributions to Primary Children's Medical Center. Burial under the direction of Larkin Mortuary, Internment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
