GRETHE and I were born three days apart in Oslo,Norway. Our families immigrated to America in 1950.Because the Norwegian community in Salt Lake was tightly knit,Grethe and I met before East High School. She was kind, smart and filled with good humor. When she died so young, her family ,her friends and her community could not be consoled.
