Martha JoAnne Olsen DeLisis, age 53, passed away May 22, 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born to Dean William and Martha June Edmonds Olsen, Oct. 12, 1948 in Nyssa, Oregon. Married Leonard J. DeLisis, Jr. May 22, 1977 in Elko, Nevada. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was always the happiest when with her two grandchildren. JoAnne spent her evenings at the nursing home caring for her mother and all of the residents and staff. She is referred to as, "My Best Friend" by all who knew her. Her passion was helping people, "she would give you the coat off her back before you even knew you needed it."

Survived by husband, Leonard; son, Joe (Jody) DeLisis, Salt Lake City; daughters, Tatum (Jason) Telford, Abbe DeLisis; grandchildren, Kaytlin and Taylor; brothers, Terry, David and Bob Olsen; sisters, Susan Noyes and Jeanne Smith. Preceded in death by parents, and brother, Bill.
