Leona Facer 78, of Brigham City died May 22, 1984.
Born Jan.19, 1906.
Married Hyrum Facer May 22, 1924 in Salt Lake City. Graduated from LDS High School and the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.
She taught Clothing and Home Economics for over 35 years at Box Elder High School, Roosevelt Jr. High, East High School and the University of Utah.
She served as State MIA President and continued to severe on the state MIA board for 25 years. Mrs. Facer was very active in the Women's Republican Club.

I still miss Mrs. Facer. She was a wonderful teacher. I learned so much from her. And we enjoyed her class as well.
