Lorin L. Smith, 90, passed away May 4, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born in Smithfield, Utah to Abraham L. and Regina Cragun Smith.

He is a graduate of Utah State University and the University of Utah.

He taught school in Salina, Utah and at East and South High School in Salt Lake City.

He worked with the Salt Lake Community College and the State Board of Education in Surplus Property Acquisition for Student Training programs.

He contributed to the early end of World War Il in his work as a scientist in the Manhattan Project. He worked in sales for over 20 years with Arnold Machinery and General Implement.

He was chairman of the scholarship committee BPOE #85 and was also secretary at the same lodge for over 20 years.

Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
