Rosalie Dickson 1966 ~ 2009 Rosalie Rice Dickson was called home on October 23, 2009 by our Heavenly Father. Rosalie and her family resided in Saint George, UT. Rosalie was born April 28, 1966 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Kenneth and Bonnie Rice. Rosalie loved her children, Devon, 13, and Alicia, 9, very much. They were the center of her life and focus of attention. Rosalie attended East High School, and graduated with a B.A. in Marketing from the University of Utah. Rosalie loved art and graphic design, and received numerous awards for her creative work. She married David Robert Dickson in the Salt Lake Temple in 1986. Rosalie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities including everything from working in the nursery to being in the Relief Society presidency. Rosalie had great faith and a genuine love for others. Rosalie enjoyed playing the violin and piano. She also enjoyed hiking and walking with her husband and friends in the red-rock country around Saint George. To Rosalie, her family was the most important thing in her life. A truly devoted wife and mother, Rosalie will be greatly missed. Survived by her husband, David Dickson; children, Devon Dickson and Alicia Dickson; parents, Kenneth and Bonnie Rice; sisters, Rebecca (Barry) Birkin; Colleen (Mark) Cordova; Deborah (Steve) Parke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 30th at the Red Cliffs Stake Center, 1285 North Bluff Street, Saint George, Utah. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West Saint George Blvd. and one hour prior to services at the Stake Center on Friday.
