Sharleen Ida Boam Stevens
January 1954 - February 2024

We are deeply saddened to announce that our dear mother and wife Sharleen Ida Boam Stevens,age 70, returned into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 23, 2024 while surrounded by her family in Billings, MT.
Sharleen was born on January 20, 1954 to Ida Cordelia Winter and William Pollock Boam in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Granite High school in 1972 then married her husband Jack Andrew Stevens on 2/14/1974 in the Salt Lake City LDS temple.
She was a woman of many exceptional talents. She was a composer, an artist and incredible vocalist. Many wonderful memories were made singing around her playing the piano or guitar. She had a deep passion for understanding other cultures, for music and the arts.
She was a kind and compassionate person that cared deeply for the suffering of others. She had immense faith that carried her through many stormy seas and struggles.
She was a dedicated member of the LDS church where she held several callings such as choir director and was able to direct some of her own choral compositions.
She was a devoted wife and mother who tried her best to make sure that her family was taken care of. She had an uncanny ability to always find the silver lining even in the most trying of circumstances. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her two sons Daniel William and David Andrew Stevens, by her parents "Cordie" and William Boam and brother Theron Wood.
She is survived by her husband Jack, her older sister Gloria(Lamar Bradshaw); sister-in-law Vicki Wood; her children Saoirse Grace aka Michelle; Emily; Natalie; Melissa; Jonathan (Rebekah) ;Cameron;her 5 grandchildren; many nieces,nephews and cousins.
