Philip Bruce Clayton, age 43, passed away August 16, 1997, at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City, New York.
Born June 4, 1954, in Billings, Montana, the son of David William and Louise Sorensen Clayton. Graduated from Granite High School in 1972. Philip was a very gifted actor and singer. He performed in plays and musicals in Salt Lake, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York. He was especially happy and proud to have been in three productions on Broadway. He was loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed. We love you and we'll miss you Philip.Survived by his parents, David and Louise Clayton, Salt Lake City, UT; two brothers, D. Steven (Pamala) Clayton, St. George, UT; Roger W. (Jill) Clayton, South Jordan, UT; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 22, 1997, 12 noon at Preston City Cemetery, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
