Miles Kent Weaver, 67, passed away on 11-25-21, following a valiant battle with liver disease. He was the youngest child of Florence Dale Weaver and Lamound John Weaver. Miles grew up and attended school in South Salt Lake and graduated from Granite High School. His favorite subjects in school were math and physics. He worked for many years at Plaza Billiards in West Valley and eventually became a part-owner.

Family and friends agree he made the best burger in town, which he dubbed the “Weaver Whopper.” He retired in 2017, after working at Dannon. Miles loved sports and adventures. He excelled in Little League Baseball and often made the All Star Team. He also played on the County Rec ball teams and played until he was 40. He liked to ski, but gave up this sport after breaking his femur and spending six weeks in traction in the hospital. He loved riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, boating and fishing at Lake Powell and spending time at his mountain property in Duchesne County, where he built a cabin almost entirely by himself.

For the past 4 years Miles and his best buddy Max, a female Bernadoodle, were inseparable. During daily visits to the dog park, both he and Max formed many friendships. As his health worsened, he entrusted Max’s care to a friend he met at the park. He absolutely knew his beloved dog would have a wonderful and loving home after he was gone.

Miles is survived by three siblings – Alan Weaver, Sherrie Kerr and Deon Johanson (Ed). He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers. Miles was a kind-hearted, humorous, gentle man who will be sorely missed by his best buddy Max, his family, countless friends and neighbors.
