Kathy Mead 1947 - 2019
Kathy passed away suddenly in August of 2019. The family was going to do a memorial and obituary in the spring of 2020, but then Covid 19 hit.
Nothing has been done yet, and I thought she should be recognized on the Highland High '66 website, and then, when there is an obit, I will attach it here where it belongs.

glad that you posted this notice about kathy. i knew her at Clayton jr. it was really good to see her at the lunches. she was a sweatheart.
Carol Tudor (Stanfield)
I didn't know Kathy at Highland but she began dating a very close friend of mine about 10 years ago and I got to know her very well. She was a good friend, a mother and a grandmother, and an artist. The friend she dated was John Timothy (Tim) Rice who graduated from Skyline.
Lanett Williams (Dial)
So glad I was able to reconnect with Kathy. She was friends with my sister who were both artists, so I had contact with her over the years, but we began visiting with each other again just a few years ago, attending the Ram gatherings and doing lunch from time to time. Her great smile and her humor were her constants along with her love for her daughter Melissa. I know she had a stroke that limited some of her walking and activity, but she still pressed forward and did what she could. I met Tim several years ago I think at a Highland High Reunion.
