1973 graduated from U of U in Medical Technology
1972-73 worked in the clinical labs at U of U hospital
1973-79 lived in Michigan for my husband's residency in Dermatology
1979 returned to Utah, lived in Millcreek and now Holladay
When our youngest child started kindergarten I went back to school, certified to teach Seminary (never really did, just substituted) and studied History and French. In the summer of 2013 I did a study abroad in France with the U of U. I was definitely the oldest student and I'm not sure my French improved, but I think Paulette Poudras would be proud. (RIP Mademoiselle -- I'm still afraid of you)
Spent a lot of time working with women and teenagers in the church
I love hanging out with our children and grandchildren
I wish I had gone to culinary school. Maybe I still will...
I stayed home from school one day to make a dress for a dance and missed the Laugh-in assembly.
Big mistake -- I'm still hearing about it. But it makes a great story for kids who want to stay home from school for no good reason. And my sewing career continued -- I created a line of children's dresses for a couple of years for an online shop one of our daughters had
