Shirley Ann Nilsson Beardall was born on February 1, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Karl Gunnar Olof Nilsson and Margareta Linnea Jonsson Nilsson. She died peacefully in her home, in Taylorsville, Utah on December 6, 2015, after a two-year battle with breast cancer. She married Eldon Jay Beardall on January 30, 1987. Together they had one daughter, Samantha Marie Beardall. Ann was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended high school at Highland High School in Salt Lake City, UT and graduated with the class of 1980. She loved children and spent nearly 18 years providing childcare in her home. She was a second mother to many. Ann always had a kind word and a helping hand for others. She always went above and beyond what was asked of her. She loved reading and learning, especially about herself, health and nutrition. She was always looking for a way to become a better person. She was very organized and loved to laugh. She is survived by her daughter, Samantha; siblings Cathy (Wally) Larrabee and Gary R. (Tammy) Nilsson. Preceded in death by her husband and both parents. A special thank you to Hospice for Utah for carrying Ann through her final days. We are so grateful for all of your incredible support. Funeral Services for Ann will be held Thursday, December 10th, at 11:00 am, at the Valley Park 2nd Ward, 5233 South 3200 West, Taylorsville, Utah, where a Viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Interment in Mountain View Memorial Park, 3115 East Bengal Boulevard (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
