 Sheri Lynn Benson "Families are Forever" Sheri Lynn Benson, beloved daughter of Carol McGavin Benson and the late Leonard D. Benson, passed away after a short illness, Friday July 25, 2003. Sheri was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 14, 1954. She was the second of five children. Sheri graduated from Skyline High School in 1972. She attended Utah State University. Sheri's favorite things to do included swimming and crocheting. She made many beautiful afghans that she gave as gifts to family and friends. Sheri is survived by her mother, brothers and sisters; Craig Benson, Shauna (Kent) Putnam, Brad (Sheila) Benson, and Mark (Cindy) Benson; eleven nieces and nephews and other family members. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday August 1, 2003 at the River Ridge 8th Ward, 1300 W. 10200 South in South Jordan. Friends may call for viewing from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs. evening at Memorial Mortuary 5850 So. 900 East in Murray, and one hour prior to services on Friday at the ward. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 E. 7800 So. (Bengal Blvd.). Directors Mountain View Mortuary.
