Rick D. Gorringe
Rick D. Gorringe 6/11/54 ~ 3/4/03 Rick D. Gorringe, a very special person, our husband, father, son and brother, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2003, due to complications from surgery at Alta View Hospital. Rick was born June 11, 1954, in Denver, Colorado, to Robert Lee and Georgia Marie Mattox Gorringe. On April 28, 1996, he married Roxanne Schow in Lake Tahoe. He worked at Qwest Communications in Salt Lake City for 30 years. He had achieved pro-status in billiards and had many friends. He is survived by his wife Roxanne, daughter Rikki, son Jhett, parents Robert and Georgia, sisters, Bobbie (Kerry) Posey, Jackie (Terry) Lunn, Charmaine (David) Green, and brother, Dominique, many cousins, nieces, nephews and best friend, Paul Sargent. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, 1750 East 3300 South. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., prior to the graveside services.
