Chuck (Chic) Hart

Chuck (Chic) Hart

"Chuck"

Charles "Chuck" Joseph Hart, age 48, returned to his Father in Heaven Tuesday, May 7, 2002 in Salt Lake City, UT.

Chuck was born April 14, 1954 in Salt Lake City to Neal Wayne and Donna Mae Peterson Hart. On August 15, 1978, he married Diane Cloward and together they had three beautiful daughters. They later divorced.

Chuck graduated from Skyline High School and received an Associates Degree from Salt Lake Community College. He was an active member of the LDS church. He served a mission in Washington D.C. and in various church callings throughout the years. He had a desire to live life to the fullest. Chuck was a lot of things: a son, a husband, an uncle, a brother, a writer, a teacher, a gardener, an optimist, but most of all he was a father. He loved to camp and hike, golf, ski, go on picnics up Millcreek, and play basketball, write poetry and listen to music. If he was with his girls he was happy and content. Chuck was more than our father, he was our best friend. We love you so much that it hurts and that love will last for eons and eons of time.

Chuck is survived by his three children, Cori, Amy and Linzi Hart; his mother, Donna Mae Hart; five brothers, Wayne (Elaine) Hart, James (Laurel) Hart, William (Gay) Hart, Steven (Cookie) Hart, Scott (Lori) Hart and Suzanne (Whitney) Wettstein. Preceded in death by his father, Neal Wayne Hart.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 11, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Canyon Rim 3rd Ward, 3051 South 2900 East, Salt Lake City. Friends may call Friday evening, from 6-8 p.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 So. 2300 E., and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
