Alan Reed Fenton

1954 ~ 2014

Salt Lake City, Utah-Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Alan Reed Fenton, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 17, 2014. Despite many challenges he was a man of honor, quiet courage, with a peaceful kind heart . Alan was born April 24, 1954 in Salt Lake City to Dale Fielding and Helen Glade Fenton. He attended Libbie Edward Elementary, Evergreen Jr. High and Skyline High School. He later served in the California, San Diego Mission. His favorite past time was playing board and card games with his Mom. He was a champion at Yahtzee, Skip Bo and Rook. We imagine a joyous reunion with his father, brother Blair, nephew Michael and his grandparents and we know that he is now free to live a full life. Alan is survived by his mother Helen, brothers Dale (Linda), Kirk (Elaine), sisters Ann (David) Embley, Sally (Kurt) Baker, uncles, aunts and many nieces and nephews. We are grateful to everyone who has worked with and cared for Alan through the years. His life was enriched by your service. Services will be held on Monday March 24, 2014 at 11:00 am at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 Highland Drive. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
