Debbie Dixon Olson

After High School I worked as a teller and loan processor for SLC Credit Union. I married Duff Olson in Sept. of 1975 and we had four children. After our 4th child was in kindergarten, I began working for Granite School District as a Para-Educator with special needs children. I was trained to assist with physical and occupational therapy exercises with many precious kids. I worked for the District for 15 years. Three of my grandsons have a condition called Fragile X Syndrome (in the Autism spectrum). Little did I know, that my experience in Special Ed would be so useful within my own family. It's been a joy and blessing to be able to work with and understand my three Special grandsons. I have thirteen grandchildren who are my world and keep me young (at least at heart♡). Life has been full of ups and downs. Duff and I divorced in 2017, but are doing ok. I got a new little companion on Christmas eve of 2021. Her name is "Merry Lulu" (named after my mom, who I lost last October). She is a miniature dachshund who is full of spunk and keeps me running! I am so blessed to have an amazing, supportive family and many dear friends. Each day is such a gift! I'm looking forward to seeing you all at our 50th!
