Patricia Ann Morris D'Arc

Patricia Ann Morris D'Arc 1954 ~ 2005 Patricia Ann Morris D'Arc, 50, passed away on April 17, 2005 at her home in Orem. She was born June 19, 1954, to Robert Bitner Morris and Mae Woodbury Lambert Morris of Salt Lake City. She attended Skyline High School and graduated in 1972, thereafter attending Brigham Young University. On January 22, 1974, Patricia married James Vincent D'Arc, of Glendale, California, in the Salt Lake Temple. Patricia served faithfully and cheerfully in numerous positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including primary chorister, a teacher in Young Women's and Primary auxiliaries. Family History work became a focused activity. She reveled in her service at the Missionary Training Center. A lover of holidays, she made birthdays, and other calendared occasions notable events for her family. She doted on her five children and seven grandchildren who faithfully attended to her every need during the 19 months of her illness. Her light so shined even during that difficult time as she looked forward reminding everyone who came to visit her that she would soon have the strength to "run around the block" with them. She radiated hope, courage, and astonishing fortitude that she has instilled into her surviving husband and children Samuel D'Arc (Dana), Meridian, ID; Jonathan D'Arc (Laralyn) Eagle Mountain; Melanie Young (John), American Fork; Jennifer D'Arc, Salt Lake City; Laura D'Arc, Orem. She is also survived by her mother Mae Woodbury Lambert Morris. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Bitner Morris. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. in the Heatheridge Stake Center, 2000 North 450 East in Orem. A viewing will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the stake center. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
