David Loritz
David Alan Loritz was born December 19, 1953 to Ed and Lianne Loritz in Hollywood, Calif. He attended Park City School from 1963 to 1967 followed by Skyline High School in Salt Lake City. David was an awesome, free-style competitive skier, played bass guitar in the rock group Time Out , and was an actor in several films. David succumbed to a 25-year battle with multiple sclerosis, a disease he battled with great courage. He passed away July 8, 2002. David is survived by his loving family: daughter Sarah, former wife Susie, father Ed, brothers Gary and Danny, sister Kathy; and many cousins, uncles, aunts and close friends, too numerous to mention. They were all so important in his life. The family asks everyone to lift a beverage of choice to his memory and his passing. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2002, 5:30 p.m. at the Holladay United Church of Christ, 2631 East Murray-Holladay Road.
