Obituary for Bill Guy Lytle

Bill Lytle, 56, of Nampa, passed away on Sunday, February 7th, 2010 at home after long illness. He will be greatly missed by his family and caregivers. A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at 4 PM on Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 at the Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave. So. – Nampa – 466-3545. Military Honors will be provided by personnel from the U.S. Navy. 

Bill was born December 25, 1953 to James and Shirley Lytle in Provo, Utah. He was the fourth child and only boy. He grew up in Orem and Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from high school in Salt Lake City. Not long afterward, he joined the Navy in 1973, and was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina. 
While still serving in the Navy he was involved in a serious accident in 1975 and following his accident he resided in Salt Lake City, Utah, Kingman, Arizona, and Nampa, Idaho. 

He was preceded in death by his father, James Lytle. He is survived by his Mother, Shirley Lytle of Provo, Utah; sisters, Dana Miller (Warren) of Nampa, Joie Ritchie (De) of Clifton, VA, Marilyn Salci (Rudy) of Lincoln City, OR, and Ruth (Jesus) Zamora of Springville, UT. He has several nieces and nephews: Nikki Krumm (Rick) of New Richmond, WI, Sean Jaehne (Cindy) of Washington, DC, Tyson Miller of Boise, Megan Harding (Paul) of Vancouver WA, James Monson of Park City, Utah, Kelli Monson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Meghan Zamora, and Codie Zamora of Springville UT. He is also survived by 2 great nieces, Lindsey Krumm, and Addison Harding, one great-nephew, Griffin Krumm. For the past 12 years, he has lived with Bill and Peggy Hopper, of Nampa, who have faithfully and lovingly cared for him. 

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Legacy Hospice, 680 S. Progress Ave. Suite 2A, Meridian, Idaho 83642 or to the charity of your choice.
