In Memory

Ralph Greenberg

Ralph Douglas Greenberg, 65, passed away on June 2, 2020 in his home in Mesa, AZ. Ralph was born August 16, 1954 in Ogden, UT to Jacqueline and Raymond Greenberg. The eldest of six children, Ralph was an honored patriarch, a ‘Titan of a big brother,’ a role model, and the kindest, gentlest, and sweetest man you have ever met.

Ralph graduated from Skyline High School in 1972. He lived for skiing, church ball, and high school football. Following high school, Ralph served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Munich, Germany. After returning from Germany, Ralph met his sweetheart and eternal companion, Jerolyn Larsen, at a church activity. He often told us “she was the cutest girl I’ve ever seen,” and that she fell in love with his legs at a church basketball game. Ralph and Jerolyn recently celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Ralph graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah and began a long and successful career as a Computer Engineer developing microchip systems. After retirement, Ralph and Jerolyn launched a bustling business together selling wedding dresses at their shop, ‘A Closet Full of Dresses,’ in Mesa, Arizona. He was eager to learn about accounting, marketing, and social media entrepreneurship, and was always excited to share shop updates. Ralph had an insatiable love of learning and an incredible knack for learning to play a variety of musical instruments.

Ralph was a devoted husband and dedicated father to his own six children. He lived his life to show his love and support the lives of his wife and kids. He was active in all his children’s (and grandchildren’s) various activities, always supportive, interested, and invested. The best and most thoughtful vacation planner, he loved to take his family on adventures around the world and never missed an opportunity to go to Disney. Ralph loved fly fishing the Provo River, mountain and road cycling, and riding his Harley. Always positive, encouraging, and kind, Ralph committed his life to serving and blessing the lives of God’s children and he deeply impacted all with whom he came in contact. He loved working in the temple. His strong testimony and stalwart example of faith and obedience will live in all our hearts.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Jerolyn, and his children, Aimee (Jason), Erik (Amy), Leslie (Peter), Rachel (Eric), Dallin (Amy), and Hannah (Saje), and 25 beloved grandchildren.

A viewing is scheduled for Friday, June 5th, 5-7pm at Bunker Family Mortuary at 3529 East University Drive in Mesa Arizona.

A second viewing is scheduled on June 7th from 2-4:00pm at Wasatch Lawn at 3401 South Highland Drive in Millcreek, Utah.

A private family service will be held on June 8th followed by interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park in Millcreek, Utah.
