Rene’ Sedgwick Palmer
Rene' Sedgwick Palmer, died September 7, 1999. Born August 28, 1954 in Provo, Utah to Joel Jr. and Virginia Sedgwick. Married Jay L. Palmer November 8, 1991. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mother of eight children, Carie L. Belcher, Monroe (Tami) Hart, David K. Belcher, Elder John M. Belcher, Jared T. Belcher, Joshua A. Belcher, Teleise J. Palmer, and Tyson J. Palmer; three stepchildren, Aaron L. Palmer, Shiloh Dawn and Sunni Marie; three grandchildren; grandmother, Odessa Clawson. Preceded in death by one sister; three grandparents; one brother-in-law.Rene' will be long remembered as a valiant follower of Jesus Christ. Her love for Him and His gospel always showed upon everything that she said and did. Rene' had the voice of an angel, often delighting family and friends with this magnificent talent that she magnified. Rene' had many church callings with the love of service as well as her desire to serve anyone. Her career in Childcare magnified the love for children and their beginning development. Rene' was a queen to her home, always revering her calling as the matron of love and example. Rene' will always be grateful for those along her path that helped her to build the anchor of strength and determination to be forever celestial. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 13, 1999 at 12 Noon in the Riverton 19th LDS Ward Chapel, 12681 South 3600 West. Friends may call at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Sunday 6-8 p.m., and family and close friends may call Monday at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
