I was born in Richfield, UT, and my family moved around a lot between Utah and Idaho. After high school, I graduated in Literature and Writing from Vassar, one of the Seven Sisters, in Poughkeepsie, NY. I then went on an LDS Spanish Speaking mission to Ventura, CA. Afterward, I got my MA in English from USU in Logan, UT, during which time I met and married Arno Copley, a local realtor. I now have two living children and one who has passed on. I am working online as a live transcriber for college and high school classes and an English instructor for BYU-I and am writing on the side. Both of my theses have been published by a German publisher, and I have several award-winning and/or locally published short stories, poems, and children's books. I also have started a kids' fantasy series on Amazon, Doomimals.
One of my favorite teachers was Mr. Hill, who taught US history. I'm sure a lot of people remember him for his "Rolling Stones" covers on the wall and piano in the middle of the classroom. He really gave us a sense of history through music and culture.
