Obituary for Robert Armendarez

Memorial services for Robert Armendarez, 49 of Roswell, will be held at 3 pm, Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tim Aguilar officiating. Robert passed away Monday, October 5, 2009. Robert was born September 3, 1960 to Edmundo Armendarez and Josie Jones in Uvalde, TX. He enjoyed watching football and basketball and was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Robert was the life of the party, always wearing a smile, making everybody laugh and was always happy. He liked to travel and loved his family passionately. Robert had a very special bond with his mother throughout his life. Robert was a great dad, husband and son and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife Michelle, of the family home, one son; Alexander Anthony Armendarez of Roswell, one daughter; Natalie Shelton and her husband Shane of San Angelo, TX, two granddaughters; Abbigail and Aubrianna Shelton both of San Angelo, his mother; Josie A. Jones of San Angelo, his father and mother in law; Gerald and Ardys Olson, of Mandan, ND, three sisters; Alma Armendarez and Gabriel Garcia of Cedar Hill, TX and Becky and Frankie Campos of San Angelo and Lisa Armendarez of San Antonio, two brothers in law; Scott Olson and his wife Kim of Bismarck, ND, and TJ Olson and his wife Emily of Mandan, ND, one very special uncle; Joe Antu of San Angelo, three nieces, three nephews, three great nephews, two great nieces, eleven cousins and numerous aunts and uncles. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Edmundo Armendarez and one sister, Cynthia Armendarez.
