Leon Samuel Jr. passed away on Saturday, August 11 , 2012 at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas from years of heart problems.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at New Jerusalem COGIC with Pastor Anthony Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Belvedere Memorial Park, 3504 Arden Road, San Angelo, Texas.

Leon Samuel Jr. was born on August 3, 1961 in Markett, Michigan, the son of Leon and Loretta Samuel. Leon was the baby of three children. Leon graduated from Central High School and after graduation attended a barber college
in the city. Later moved to Waco, Texas and attended Art Institute and worked for Walmart for many years.

Leon enjoyed music and taking pictures. He was a happy young man who never met a stranger.

Leon was preceded in death by his mother Loretta Samuel.
Survivors include his Father, Leon Samuel Sr. & Step-mom Jessie Samuel, brothers Darnell Samuel and Norman Henry of San Angelo, step-sister Jarita Camacho and husband Marc of Dallas Texas, niece, Brittney Samuel of Plano, Texas,
a host of relatives and friends.
