Family, friends and co-workers mourn the loss of Robert Kevin Housley who died on April 20, 2008, at the age of 45.

Kevin was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on July 30, 1962, to Bob and Mona Housley. He graduated from Central High School in San Angelo, attended Southwest Texas State, where he met his future wife Vicki McKinney, and went on to earn his degree at Angelo State University.

Kevin was part of the gubernatorial campaign of U.S. Representative Tom Loeffler and then served as a staff member for Texas Governor Bill Clements. He later worked for U.S. Representative Dick Armey. In 1986, Kevin joined Housley Communications, Inc., where he was assigned managerial responsibilities for many key segments of the business. Over time, Kevin was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President responsible for all financial, business and day-to-day operations of Housley Communications, Inc.
