In my homeroom since seventh grade, Frances was pretty, smart and seemed more mature than the rest of us. Seeing her at reunions, she also didn't seem to age either! Condolences to her family.
Frances...My dear sweet friend, I am near tears to have received notice of your passing. Every class reunion that you missed were ones that I missed you and it meant that I looked forward to the next reunion that perhaps you'd attend. If someone were to ask me now or in the future whose would be a name that I would call a real friend, though we might not have been 'bosom buddies' or have seen each other often throughout life, Frances, you would be right up there at the top of that list. You never had an unkind word for anyone. You would be a friend to anyone who approached you on that basis. [I worried that you might be taken advantage of....] My mind conjures the many times we talked together, walked together, shared some heart-felt private issues...longings...future roads. You did your 'thing'; I did my 'thing'...they didn't mesh in daily social activities. But, we were simpatico. You loved your family...mom, dad...two sisters; then later on, your husband and sons. You attacked everything you did with your best effort. You were accomplished. Though you were easy to be jealous of because of your intrinsic wholesomeness, beauty, quiet charisma, I cannot think of a soul who was maliciously envious. You were too kind to be judged unkindly. God bless Paul and your sons as they continue their lives without you. My heart feels for them that they've lost you from this earthly realm. It's hard...really hard. The Love of God and Jesus can help them look forward to the heavenly realm to be with you again.
I hope/pray that you didn't suffer in life, knowing that no one person can escape from pains and sufferings throughout a lifetime.
I am among the many who loved you. We'll see one another again, sweet friend.
