Ronald Sprague was born in San Antonio, Texas on April 29, 1963 and entered eternal rest on Februrary 21, 2011 in Bakersfield, CA at the age of 47.  He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend to many.  He was preceded in death by his father, James Sprague; step-father, John Murray; brother, Patrick Sprague; sister, Barbara Perry; and brother, Dr. Steven Sprague.  He is survived by his mother, Viola Murray, sisters, Kathy Crabtree, JoAnn Harris, and Geri Dunlap; brothers, Jim Sprague, Michael Sprague, Timothy Sprague; step-brother, James Murray; step-sisters, Florence Peckover, Judith Murray; wife Tammy Sprague, and step-children, Crystal Fordyce, Tamara Frost and Tiffany Costa, grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends including; special friends Keb and Katrina Bryan and Pearl Myers; and his loving dog Beautimus.  Ron attended St. Thomas More Catholic School and was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School.  Ron was a loving, caring friend who would always lend a helping hand in any way he could.  He was a very gifted craftsman and always offered his trusted expertise without question or any expectation of anything in return.  Ron loved to ride his Harley and BBQ with his many friends.  Ron was a true blessing to the world.  He will truly be missed.  Ron, we all love and miss you.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 30th, at V.F.W., 2222 Austin Hwy., from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.  All friends and family are welcome to join us in a celebration of Ron's life.
